Contagious Courage - April Ward

In today's segment of Contagious Courage you will hear from April Ward. I met April last year when I spoke at a ladies retreat out at Sunnyside Christian camp in Sylvan Lake, AB, and her story really touched my heart. So when I was invited back to speak again this year, I knew I wanted to have her on this months Contagious Courage.

April struggled to accept the love of her Heavenly Father, when her earthly father was emotionally and physically abusive. Hear the touching story of how April has been allowing God to slowly soften her heart to enable her to forgive her earthly father.

"Even though my dad and I are not on speaking terms yet, I have given him over to God, and have begun to speak promises over his life. I've been praying scriptures like Ezekiel 11:19 over him. Believing that "God will remove his heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh." April Ward

April is passionate about her relationship with the Lord, and is happily married with two amazing children. April is also an author and has begun working on her first book titled,

"My Unraveled Heart".

I pray you are encouraged as you hear April's journey to forgiving her earthly father, as she accepted the love of her Heavenly Father.

I don't know if father's day is a happy day or an unbearable day for you, but no matter what situation you find yourself in, I pray that you embrace the love of your Heavenly Father as April has, and find comfort in Him!
