Contagious Courage - Tammy Joy Richards

Courage takes on many different forms!

And being vulnerable and sharing your story and the scars of your past,

is defiantly courageous!

Well my next guest has a story that is layered with courage!

From her birth story to the struggles she's had to face as an adult.

Tammy Joy Richards, my dear friend, mother of 3 amazing children,

a very successful business woman in health care industry and co-author in a best selling book series titled, Dreaming Big, Being Bold! Many times over the years Tammy as heard me say, "You can't have great power and influence without great pain."

In our interview today, Tammy acknowledges that while things in her life didn't always go as she had hoped or planned, God has taken all her pain and brokenness and turned it into something beautiful. Which is why she has labeled her story as "The Gift of Disruption"

"Weeping (sadness) may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." Psalms 30:5

You will hear Tammy reference this scripture as having real depth and meaning to her own personal journey, which is why I felt to share this song "Beauty from Ashes" by Brooke Nicholls. The message in this song truly summarizes Tammy's life story, and what God can do with a broken life poured out before the Lord.
