Representing Canada

When I was struck with a paralyzing virus 18 years ago, I thought my dreams of doing something amazing to encourage and inspire the world around me had died. However, God has enabled me to turn my pain into power, and as a result, I am living my passions. I am an author, motivational speaker and life coach, with more amazing experiences and opportunities than I EVER dreamed of.  Now, with the title of the first ever Miss wheelchair Canada, I have this amazing opportunity to represent Canada on the world's stage, to encourage and inspire people on a level I never thought possible.  #Limitless

With that being said, I would like to thank Olesya Kornienko - The President of WDSACA, (Wheelchair Dance Sport Association Canada) and her team Annette and Jeff, for having the vision and the perseverance to make this event possible. The other contestants Nicole Pfeifer Tabassum Chagani & Brandi. #Friends4Life Neil Matheson and Miguel GC our photographers, because of you we have amazing photos to remember this event for ever! Special thanks also, to all the sponsors, partners, and volunteers of the Miss Wheelchair Canada.

And also a big thank you to AMI TV – Accessible Media and CBC news. You defiantly helped me feel relaxed for my interviews. THANK YOU!

Tasha Hillman - Miss South BC 2015 for being an amazing M.C for the evening. I also want to thank the people who came out to the event, and all who watched on Facebook or sent your love and support.  Your involvement and encouragement has meant so much.

Now, as I prepare for this once in a lifetime opportunity, Miss Wheelchair World, I will defiantly be needing your continued prayer and support, as my task list is VERY LONG. One major task I am tackling, is to make my own national costume. This costume will represent Canada, so lots of brainstorming and efforts will be devoted to that.  I am also asking for you to kindly consider supporting me with a financial donation. While accommodations and meals will be paid by the association for both myself and my attendant, the round trip flight to Poland and other preparation expenses are not. The estimated cost of airfare is aprx. $1,500.00 per ticket.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated. So, if you would like to help, you can send a donation to vahenking@gmail.com.

I want to thank you in advance for your kind consideration of this request, and appreciate any assistance you can provide. Further more, if you would like to follow my  journey of a life time, please follow me on Facebook, YouTube or subscribe to my website www.vahenking.com.

And before you go, PLEASE also VOTE for your Canadian gal to win Miss Popularity. The  voting has begun. CLICK HERE TO VOTE
