This Little Red Head - Going Home!

IT'S HERE! Only a day away from speaking at my home church in Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Carter's Cove.

This "little red head" returning home to launch her book "Going Farther" and share her life story with those most dear to her, PRICELESS!!

I cannot tell you the anticipation and excitement I have had, and am now feeling about this moment. Being surrounded by all my close friends and family with the freedom to share my heart as I begin this next phase of my journey, I can assure you will go down as one of those "most special moments."

Anticipating seeing old friends and making some new ones, getting LOTS of pictures and hugs are high on the check list.. Hahaha

See you this Sunday, where you will also get to meet a very dear friend of mine Kelly.

As I approached the completion of my book Going Farther, Kelly was recording her first album.

Kelly stated that, "As I got to know Vahen, and hear her heart, I realized that we had similar Journeys. In my case, each song was written in hopes that the listener would relate on a human, and spiritual level, and be encouraged to follow God- even when the road is not easy. And I saw that Vahen's journey was exactly that - She lived out her life and followed God - even when the road was not easy. "

To the see the way God has brought Kelly and I together for this special moment, is just SO amazing…. Kelly has a true heart for God, and it is evident in her life and her music..

Because of the connection I had felt with Kelly and see how closely the messages of her songs related to my life, I just HAD to put two of her songs in my book.

The two songs I had chosen were, Joy In The Morning and One more step, but her CD is chalked full of songs that have touched my heart, and I know they will touch yours.

She will also be joining me in the Laurenceton church Sunday night, and she will have her CD available at both locations. However, if you do not get a chance to get your copy of either my book "Going Farther" or Kelly's CD "Joy In The Morning" this weekend...you will be able to find it at both RB&B locations..
